General

• Pick one team each week that you think will win
• If the team you pick loses, you get eliminated from the pool
• You can buy back in (if your Pool Admin allows)
• You are not allowed to pick the same team twice (even if you buy back in)
• Ties count as a win or loss (depending on your Pool Admin setting)
• Pool ends when there is one player left who survives the longest!

Registration Deadline - LAST MINUTE REGISTRATIONS

• Right after you register, you will be able to make your pick using the same browser session you registered with. DO NOT CLOSE YOUR BROWSER OR LOGOUT OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR "just registered" logged in session. If you happen to lose your "just registered" logged in session, you must communicate to your Pool Admin to mark your player as "Entry Fee Sent = YES" so you can log back in to make your pick.

Picks

• Your picks are posted on the standings and it is your responsibility to verify that the pick you made is the correct one.
• Teams that you have already picked will automatically be removed from the next weeks gameboard.

Picks Deadline

• You must have your pick in BEFORE THE START OF THE FIRST Thursday or Sunday regular season game depending on your Pool Admin's setting.
• The "Week" begins and ends accordingly with NFL Football schedule.

The Default Pick

• The Default Pick is your pick if you forget to make one or leave your pick blank.
  
  
• Your Pool Admin will have the Default Pick setting either turned "ON" or "OFF". Pay attention to this setting and read the next bullet points.
  1. If your Pool Admin has this setting turned "ON". If you leave your pick blank (or forget to make a pick) and the week has BEGUN, you haved missed the deadline. Your pick will then be turned over to the default pick and will be determined by what picks you have already made for the season versus the order of the default picks posted.
  2. If your Pool Admin has this setting turned "OFF". If you leave your pick blank (or forget to make a pick) and the week has BEGUN, you haved missed the deadline. Since you have made no pick and your Pool Admin has Default pick turn "off" you are eliminated from the pool.
• Default picks will be based on the the most favored team from USA Today Live Odds in descending order of most favored to least favored.
• When there are point spread ties, the order in which the Past Survivor Default Picks are posted for that week will be the order your default pick will be determined.

Buying Back In

• If your Pool Admin has allowed you to "Buy Back In" to the pool, the teams you have selected for Week 1 and/or Week 2 will remain as your picks.
• The deadline to Buy Back In is 1 hour before the first game of the Week you are Buying Back In for. You must let your Pool Admin know that you want to Buy Back In so the can mark you back as "ALIVE".

Email

• Emailed picks are generally not accepted. It is your Pool Admin discretion to accept an emailed pick. You should always use the website to make your pick.

End of Pool

• The pool ends when there is only one player that has survived the longest in the standings.
  
  The following is all depending on how your Pool Admin wants to run their own pool:
• In the event there is more than one player left for a place prize after a loss, those players will be set back to alive and continue to play it out to the end for that place to be awarded.
• Each place prize will be awarded to different players. One player cannot be awarded multiple place prizes.
• In the event there is a tie between remaining players after Week 17, the remaining players will continue to pick into the playoffs to break the tie. Playoff picks are taken from all playoff teams as if a new season has started.
• In the event of a tie after the Super Bowl, pool prizes will be split accordingly.
• In the event that a player doesn't have a pick left in the playoffs. They are eliminated from the pool.

Pool Admin - House Rules

• Your Pool Admin has the right to review all disputes on a case-by-case basis and will be final authority on all decisions affecting the contest with the goal being to keep it fair and fun for all!
